Google Lighthouse:
A clear measure of Website Accessibility from a household name.
Website Accessibility
Website accessibility ensures that digital spaces are inclusive and usable for individuals with visual, auditory, cognitive, or motor impairments. Implementing these standards is vital, as according to UK government official statistics up to 20% of the UK population may require accessible digital accommodations, making having an Accessible website essential - especially if you are a not for profit organisation.
Having a household name like Google make Accessibility a key measure of how they judge your website is a serious and welcome step. We can update your current website to be Accessible or build you a new Accessible website. New websites start at £3k but updating your current website can be much less. Ask us for a FREE quote. Lighthouse is Google’s website inspector
Lighthouse is FREE and it tells you the truth about your website - without a sales angle. Lighthouse tells you how Accessible you are and what needs to be done if you aren’t.
Accessibility taken seriously
Accessibility is no longer niche. It's not just for people that use a screen reader. Thousands of people - your audience and potential service users - benefit from it and it nearly always improves your SEO as a matter of course. If you are a not for profit you absolutely need an Accessible website - and your next funding application will have an important box ticked if you have one. With our pricing there is no longer an excuse not to have one!
We are certified Disability Confident 'Committed' with the UK Government. This is a free scheme that all companies should look at but non profits especially.

Clear scores
Lighthouse shows four key metrics with a score and clear colour code. It shows Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices and SEO.
No one likes a slow website. A lot more people than you are probably aware dislike an inaccessible website. Best Practises are what they say and Google knows all there is to know about SEO.
Now you can have a simple measure of these four key metrics to refer to and quote as you improve your website’s bottom line.

What we can do for you and how much it costs
We can get your website Accessible either all at once or gradually. Many organisations phase in website Accessibility as time and budgets allow and we can accommodate this way of working.
We use an industry standard combination of WordPress with GeneratePress. Both of these have Accessibility baked in and both take Accessibility very seriously.
Our pricing starts at only £3k for a new website but we may be able to make your current website Accessible for much less.
Training to keep new pages compliant using Teams or Zoom or a custom video is included even in our £3k 'new website' starting price. Training is super friendly and takes less than an hour - usually in 15 minute or less sessions.
All quotes are FREE and are fixed prices. We do not go over budget. Ever.
