It is with a mixture of sadness and delight that the reality of Flash slipping off into the sunset hits home.

Flash used to be fun, it did, really.
Then it got messy. Then it broke.
And then it was mainly used for annoying adverts.
Actionscript 3 was fun for people that think code is fun – were they ever the original target audience?

The games were fun but there’s plenty of game platforms.

It doesn’t work on mobiles or iPads. So that’s it then.
